VPN for Mac / iPhone coming soon
Tunnelz gives you a private VPN server that only you use, and one switch to turn it on. Built for China, where shared VPNs get found and blocked.
When apps, calls or news are blocked where you live, Tunnelz builds a private server abroad that only you use. Nothing shared for a censor to find, and one switch to use it.
Several countries, one setup. Your own server, which only you use, comes with you from hotel Wi-Fi to airport Wi-Fi, and every app works the same wherever you land.
Privacy at home, and your shows from abroad. A server that only you use, in your own account. Tunnelz never sees your traffic.

How it works
No server skills needed. New to Vultr? The app walks you through opening an account, then builds your server in about two minutes. After that, it's one switch.

STEP 2
The app helps you open a Vultr account (about $5 a month), then builds your server in the fastest region.

STEP 3
That's it. Tunnelz picks the faster protocol and keeps the tunnel up on its own.
The switch
On the Mac it lives in the menu bar, like Wi-Fi. On iPhone it's one power button. This is a live demo: try it. Every switch on this page is the same switch.

Shared VPN servers get found, blocked and crowded. A server that's only yours doesn't have that problem.
About 146 Mbps downloads and Google in 0.1 s, from a home connection in China. Chinese sites skip the tunnel and stay fast.

Never connected, or connected but kept a Chinese location.
China Unicom home Wi-Fi to Vultr Tokyo, October 2026. Played 4× faster. Shared and free VPNs weren't measured, so they get no numbers.
A health check every 15 s and after sleep. It follows Wi-Fi changes and reconnects by itself. If your server is ever blocked, a new one is up in about 2 minutes.

The server lives in your own Vultr account. Nobody else shares it, so it never gets crowded and there's no shared address to block. Tunnelz the company never sees your traffic.
An illustration, not a measurement.
Why Tunnelz exists
I built Tunnelz for my own Mac, on home Wi-Fi in China, because every VPN I paid for kept getting blocked right when I needed it.
Free options weren't better: Cloudflare WARP either never connected, or it did and sites still saw me in China. What finally worked was a server of my own, abroad, that nobody else used. Setting it up by hand took an evening of firewalls and DNS fixes, and doing it again for family took another.
Tunnelz is that evening, done for you: your own server in about ten minutes, then one switch. I use it every day.
Pricing
Start with 3 days free. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
Free for 3 days, then $79.99 a year. With your server, about $11.67 a month in all.
Free for 3 days, then $12.99 a month. With your server, about $17.99 a month in all.
Free for 3 days, then $19.99 once for 30 days. With your server, about $25 in all.
Your server is billed by Vultr, about $5 a month, in your own account. That's what keeps it yours. Stop any time: cancel in the app, and one tap deletes your server so Vultr stops billing too. New Vultr accounts get credit through our link.
The globe, one power button, and the same private server as your Mac. Leave your email and we'll tell you the day it's out.
Show a QR code on one device and scan it with the other. The second device uses the same server, so there's nothing to set up twice.
